CAMERA is the Communications and Math Employment Readiness Assessment, developed by PTP Adult Learning and Employment Programs (PTP). Designed for use in English-language adult education settings, CAMERA is a series of competency-based assessments that use realistic employment-oriented tasks to assess individuals’ reading, document use, writing and numeracy skills.

CAMERA Placement is a locator test, designed to gather preliminary information about individuals’ literacy and numeracy abilities. Ideal for screening and intake purposes, it is a brief assessment that includes tasks at Skills for Success levels 1, 2 and 3.

CAMERA Stages 1, 2 and 3 are used to assess individuals who are in upgrading programs. Stage 1 addresses Skills for Success level 1, Stage 2 addresses Skills for Success level 2 and Stage 3 addresses Skills for Success levels 2 and 3.
